time: Beijing Olympics opening ceremony was fantastic. ;D 北京欢迎你~~~！ NDP ceremony was practically mediocre in comparison. but the fireworks and planes were quite interesting. (:  right out of the TV & past our balcony. :D  ah well, stretched as far out as i could but the danged houses were blocking my view of the heart. xD Anyways. Went out with Laurentia, Amanda and Wen Li today. (: First met up with Laurentia and Amanda at Plaza Sing. :D They told me to meet them at Comics Connection. & being the toot that i am. i blatantly looked laurentia right in the face & did not see her?! So i happily walked inside Comics Connection & walked around the empty shop, looking suspiciously like some shoplifter with my backpack and conspicuous large guitar bag. xD Alas, the entire shop was empty?! So i walked out completely puzzled & saw... Amanda and Laurentia on the opposite side laughing away & waving. my reaction? =A=" *GWARGH!* (yes i really made that sound) & did my stupid eggy pose right in front of the shop. So the two shop assistants in Comic connection's impression of me should probably run along the lines of: A mentally-retarded-suspicious-failure-of-a-guitarist-shoplifter-that-does-weird-poses-and-weird-sounds. yes indeed. how absolutely.... mortifying. ==" (I'll never live it down. TT^TT ) ----- After which, ate at KFC said bye to Amanda & proceeded to Raffles Place. (: After a considerable amount of time, we finally made our way to the Esplanade rooftop. (: call me a noob or whatever. But yes its the first time I've been there. & its beautiful! (:  So we sat down played songs, camwhored & ultimately studied. :D oh yea! & observed the really weird looking clouds to go along with our insane interpretations. xD  doesn't Laurentia's guitar look absolutely photogenic? :D  Behold! The two weird heads sticking out of the pots! :DDD The teensy one at the back is none other than Laurentia & the one in front is Wen Li! xDD  Wen Li's failed attempt at emoing. xD According to her, "i look like I'm sleeping!"  hahaha! i love this photo! :DDD Laurentia thinks she looks small. But no you don't! :D This is really nice! :DD ------ Considered our ice cream options for a really long time Decided on Hokkaido Milk Ice Cream. Me & Laurentia took the Milk Tea one. YUMMY! :D Wen Li took the Tiramisu one. ALSO YUMMY! :D Shopped abit for Laurentia's white top. Forced her to try several on. Prolonged her suffering. heh heh. :DD & much to her relief, headed home. Wonderful day indeedy. :D now i should just tell that to my sore feet. D: |
