Went to Mandarin Gallery to eat at Ippudo SG with Daddy & Uncle today! :]]
There was this really long queue by the time we reached and we had to wait for quite a bit D:

Anyway! :]
We were seated at a 5 seater table with two other Japanese men. :O
& several of their staff are Japanese or really fluent in it! :OO
Moving on! I ordered the Shiromaru Classic which according to their menu is an original recipe tonkutsu (Pork Bone) soup served with thin noodles, Rosu cha su (Pork loin), cabbage, kikurage and scallions.
So overall, the noodles were really great.
But the broth!
oh goshhh! The 20 hours spent boiling it is certainly well worth it!
Its so superbly flavourful and yummy! :D
It can almost fight with my (still) favourite Marutama Ramen! HAHA! :]
But unfortunately i still think Marutama is better.
& That because, their service there is so much more attentive.
The ambiance is peaceful as compared to the hectic bustling Ippudo,
& finally though the broth is really nice, as you reach the end of the bowl you can't help but start to feel as though the broth is overly salty and it starts to leave this weird numbing sensation on your tongue.
HAHA!
But the OCBC offer allowed us to enjoy a small plate of Green Tea ice cream.
which was mighty nice i must say. :]]
I really wanted to try their Sakura Ice cream though.
Haha, maybe i'll go back another time to try. :]]
Ya guys can go check it out! ;]
Their ramen is pretty well worth the money at around $15 onwards. :]
Cheers!
