time: Thought today would be spent at home alone. Alas i received a much welcome call from Lydia asking if i wanna go out with her and Joyce. SO HAPPPPYYYYY! :D Its been ages since i last seen both of them. Especially for Joyce, i mean its been two years already! :OOO We had a real good talk and it was nice catching up with them :] Had dinner at an awesome place too. Ate at Vivo's The Mussel Guys.  It has a nice view of Universal Studios on the opposite side. :D Had a set meal of Wild Mushroom Pasta with the Soup of the day. Turned out to be... PUMPKIN SOUP! 8D okay gross i know. Not a big fan of pumpkin. ): But ah well, it was kinda bland and really thick. The accompanying teensy slice of herb bread was nice though. :] & OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, we ordered... MUSSELSSSSS! 8DDD Ya la no brainer. but still. i really loveeeeeeeee Mussels! 8D You can select from a variety of cooking styles but we settled upon Belgian Mussels. Which tend to be heavier and bigger. YEAAAAAH! Sauteed in white wine, butter and onions. It was AWESOMEEEEEEE! 8D Ordered 350 grams worth which bore around 11 glorious beauties. :D Its delishhh! :D Eat when its still steaming and juicy! :D & here's my pasta! :D wait for it... ZOOM IN! :D MWAHAHAHA! :P Alright. This was delicious too. But after eating around three quarters of it. The thick creamy sauce got the best of me and it became seriously gelat. D: Polished off the remainder mushrooms and decided to turn in the towel. ;] Good meal nonetheless & even greater company. :] I'm contented. :] *END* |
