time: Today was an awesome special day. :D Went walking around to new places and trying out new stuff with Yam. :D  Orange Lantern for lunch. :D Haven't eaten Vietnamese food for reallllyyyy long. D: But today's lunch was delicious beyond words. :D Imperial Spring Rolls for starters. :] Wrapped with lettuce and mint leaves and dipped in sweet and sour sauce. :D YUMMEH! 8D I ordered my much beloved Pho. (pronounced Fur) Which in other words means Beef noodles. :D With beef balls, beef slices and beef brisket. :D ME LIKEY. 8D Added loads of my fav. mint leaves and squeezed in some lime for that kick. :D Check out the oh so yummeh broth and hearty noodles! 8D Yam ordered Grilled Beef with rice vermicelli and spring rolls. They sprinkled the noodles with peanuts and Yam felt like he was eating Skippy PB Noodles. HAHAHA. Ah well, but at least we both agreed on the yummeh beef bowl. :] Sorry for not recommending the nicer dishes yam. D: Then we headed towards POMO's area and Yam brought me to eat the most delicious Goreng Pisang ever! :OO It was really crispy and flaky and the natural sweetness of the warm and soft banana really made it a great after lunch dessert. :] Thanks for the introduction of such a great Pisang yam! :DD ------------------- Walked back to City hall & ate Gelato! :D Awesome soft and yummeh ice cream! :D The people at the shop were so friendly and generous! 3 Flavours in a Medium size cup for $8! Quite worth it eh? :]] We ordered Blue Sky, Chocolate and Coco-(something something). Basically some "kiddy ice cream" (according to the ice cream man), awesome yummy chocolate and Coconut icecream -__-. Bad choice for the last one. But it was okay after awhile. :P Tah dah! Hence, wraps up my day. :D I hope tomorrow would be as eventful and enjoyable! ♥ *END* |
