title: Let's Feast! (Again) - Budget Edition
time: 10:23 PM

Its been awhile since i met some good old familiar faces from Secondary School. (:

I'm really glad that I went out and met them yesterday! Albeit feeling all lazy, it was definitely worth it! :D

& They were so sweet to train down to Town to meet me! ♥

Lunch at Astons was just marvelous. Skipped the long queue by agreeing to sit outdoors ala Alfresco dining. ;]

Pretty darn good i must say. Pity the view was blocked by the darn ventilator. :|

Ordered the Lemon Lime Cheeken. & an additional Double Up (Chargrilled & Teriyaki) - and the 4 sides that came with it.
Scrimping on drinks totaled our bill to approximately $18. :D

Since we shared the 3 fillets of chicken, we split the bill and paid only $6 each!

It was satisfying and all we craved then was dessert!

So onwards we charged towards Mad Jacks for some much needed sweetness!

First to greet our sweet teeth was the Apple Crumble!
Topped with a huge ball of fragrant Vanilla Ice Cream drizzled with caramel. YUMZ! 8D

Mr Crumble was followed by the Magnificent Banana Chocolate Cake! :D

Layers of chocolate sponge alternating fresh bananas, whipped cream and topped with a luscious layer of thick chocolate!

Full of ooey gooey banana-ey goodness! :DD

Both desserts totaled to a mere $12. Costing us each only $4!
Absolute must try guys! :DD

(Jeanie let me know if you wanna! I'll bring you here!)

After some walking and talking, we the ever hungry decided on yet another dessert!

Heading towards Selegie Road, we went for the ever famous *wait for it* Rocher Beancurd!

Silky Soya Beancurd, refreshing Soya Bean drink, Salted Cinnamon Ham Jin Peng & Eggtarts!
All for under $2 each! Traditional desserts and the atmosphere are just well worth the money and time! If you havent tried Rocher Beancurd to date...Shame on you! ):

Hahaha, okay so the day's spending totaled to a mere $12 or so for each person.
Pretty decent for a day of good but reasonable food.

It certainly left us with filled stomachs for the day! :)
