title: Rose and Mary
time: 10:29 PM
I'd always been fascinated with cooking shows and when ever they mention Herbs (pronounced "erbs" with a silent H) i get really hungry.
It all sounds so fragrant and delicious! Oregano, basil, thyme and Rosemary...
Well, as of now, Basil is still my favourite Herb! :D
Absolute must have in all my omelettes, pastas, soup, etc, etc. You get the drift.
Well anyway today, i decided to cook chicken! :D
& to do so it called for some good old Rosemary! :D
So I hereby introduce you to Rose and Mary. (:
Slender, limber and vibrant.
Fragrant to their last stalks.
Perfect.

Mixing it in with a blend of lemon zest and chopped garlic.
The perfume was brilliant! :D
Spent a good hour or so with a traditional Mortar and Pestle pounding Jacobs Cracker biscuits in front of the telly watching Glee S2.
To get the results as displayed below.
Only to realize there was actually a food processor slyly hiding in the kitchen cupboards. D:
BAH HUMBUG! ):
Anyways, dumped the slightly damp "dry" ingredients together with clumps of butter, salt, pepper and half a lemon's juice and blended away! :D
Ended up with a rather clumpy mixture that smelt distinctively of lemons, garlics and well, rosemary. Duh. -__- *facepalms*
Proceeded to remove skins and unnecessary parts from the chicken breast and sliced it into thin fillets.
Followed by a light pounding to tenderize the meats. :D
Tah dah! Totally unglamorous raw flat meat! 8DD
And basically one just does the no brainer clockwise movement of the hand as the cooking progresses.
Take chicken, roll in flour, coat in egg and rub on crumb mixture.
Proceed to fry in olive oil on a non stick pan. (:
Results is YUMMZ! 8D
Though next time, i'd drastically reduce the amount of rosemary and lemon i put in. :P
Quite an overkill i must say. (understatement)
Herbs are best taken in small quantities. :D
