My uncle was rather adamant about providing me with an alarming amount of discussion regarding Religion.

The one taboo subject that i strive to avoid.
Religion A, B, C, etcetera etcetera.

Why?

I dont understand the need for the theories, why must we study so much?
Why is there a requirement to know everything in depth?

Isn't it enough to just believe?

To build that connection between God & us.
To live life righteously, to uphold one's conscience?

Why must we argue, fight, bleed over the Beginnings and how everything was derived.

Isn't it all the same?

Where is the freedom to just believe?

Its simple isn't it? There's no need for arguments, no need for theories, no need for proof.

I believe in God, I do not strictly believe in Religion A, B or C. I am a freethinker.
I just believe that He is there. That He exists. That He is always there for us.

I believe in thanking Him with my silent prayers, i believe in talking to Him daily while staring at the sky, I believe in sharing with him my troubles, worries, fears and desperations.

I believe in believing that fate is all in His hands.

Is that enough?

Isn't that enough?

Im sorry. Sorry that i dont worship Him by going to a religious place of worship weekly, and still sin anyway.

If we sin, its because we're human, I plead for forgiveness and pray for his leniency.
I believe that He understands that as long as we are sincere and genuinely regretful, He can wash away our sins.

Okay, Im deviating.

My point is, i dont understand the need for the segregation and hostility.

Everyone is free to believe isn't it?

Why, (oh why), must we discriminate?
